Some of my most cherished memories were made around my grandmother Beverly's dining table.

It was where family gathered, stories were shared, and homemade desserts brought everyone together. At the center of many of those moments was Beverly's famous Pineapple Upside-Down Cake—a dessert that became a tradition and a symbol of togetherness.

Years later, when I was 22 years old, I had a dream.

In that dream, I saw a cake stand sitting on her dining room table, keeping dessert warm long after it had been served. The image was so vivid that I woke up and immediately wrote the idea down.

What began as a dream soon became an obsession. I searched for a product that could keep desserts warm while maintaining the elegance of a traditional cake stand—but nothing like it existed.

So I set out to create it.

After years of development, countless prototypes, and more than a dozen patent filings, that dream became Velvera®—the world's first cordless heated cake stand.
